Jun 5, 2020This show is terrible! The only good episode was the one with zero of the main characters in it. The one with Krumholtz and Milioti. I want to watch THAT show! This show is dumb, has nothing going for it, and the attempts at jokes are painful. Ok fine, Aparna Nancherla is funny. That's it!

Jun 11, 2020Unbearably woke. I couldn't even finish the first episode. Apparently all game programmers and gamers are young woke wahmens. Pass. The two points are for Mac and Cricket.

Apr 15, 2020I am appalled. The first episode was nearly unbearable to watch and I’m not going to see another episode. Lame jokes, obvious development and pointless characters are drawing a very bad light upon people who work in the field. Wonder how this passed Apples review.

Jul 6, 2020It's not really funny. It could have been a decent show, the problem is, they put in all that woke s**t. This is neither funny, nor does it reflect reality. These moments are cringy and boring at best. They show terrible stereotypes about gamers. Some characters show potential but they cannot make up for all the annoying agenda bs.

Feb 7, 2020What a joke? The joke is the show isn't for real gamers, more like a show to old people who have no idea how Video Games works. Aside from it, it has horrible acting and cringe "Woke" Moment. I wouldn't recommend this joke to anyone. PERIOD!!

Feb 8, 2020Really bad writing and a lot of bad acting. Tries to be silicone valley but without any charm or clever writing. Was clearly not written by gamers, constantly shoehorning in gamer words but the whole thing is cringe . I’m a big sunny fan and couldn’t get through 3 episodes. Bad attempts at being ‘woke’. Why are Apple originals so bad?

Feb 16, 2020Really bad jokes. Really bad acting. They try to be funny and with this they take a lot from the hard work that is actually done in gaming industry and treat it like a bad joke.

Feb 8, 2020I was not sure about a sitcom gaming show by ubisoft. Just finished the season and it's really good. Some cringe moments but i find the writing really good in general. They also talk about most of the subject we care about in the community. If you don't like the pilot and want to quit, just watch episode 5. BRILLIANT!

Feb 14, 2020Ignore the negative reviews here. They are from butthurt anti-Apple people who come into Apple TV+ shows expecting to be offended by Apple’s perceived wokeness. I think you guys need to learn from Ben Shapiro and stop wokescolding Apple.

Feb 7, 2020Another great show from Rob McElhenney. The supporting cast is great and the writing is of course brilliant. A little confused about other's opinions: the show is a satire. It's not attacking the video game nerds so I don't know what they're talking about.

Feb 7, 2020I loved it. Funny and pretty accurate to the Game Dev experience. I'm not sure what's so woke about it? It has female characters? Check it out.

Nov 28, 2020Great show. Very funny. I'm a corporate non-game software developer, and it seems some negative review here were either people from the game industry getting defensive/offended or conservatives hating its seeming liberal allusions - they complain about its woke-ness - but its funny. Very funny.

Jun 10, 2020Loved the first season of this show. It’s funny and flows well. Can’t wait for season 2.

Sep 14, 2021While the office workplace comedy is a flooded marketplace, this show works due to the interactions of it's diverse characters and clever writing.
A series that gets better the further you watch it, hitting it's peak with a brilliant episode on the Covid lockdown. -
Dec 17, 2020I had low expectations as someone who doesn’t care about video games, but the characters were engaging enough and the themes universal enough for that not to matter. It’s also very funny.

Not only is it funny, but it sets itself up from the first minute as the next great workplace comedy, one that even gamers will like.

Mythic Quest often plays like a mild lark uninterested in pushing itself into truly gonzo territory. Once its protagonists’ quirks and hang-ups have been firmly established, the series is able to play off of those attributes to wittier ends. Yet even so, none of its central figures are distinctive enough to stand out from any number of like-minded comedy efforts.

Though the characters are ill-tempered, the show comprises generally good-natured tales of competing egos and angry compromises.
