Seasons 6 has some of the best special episodes. There is the long awaited James Bond special. In two episodes they tested the electromagnetic watch, the speed boat jump (Live and let Die), the ballpoint pen bomb, Oddjobs hat and Jaws metal set of teeth. I nearly forgot the ultimate James Bond test: Shaken or Stirred Martinis ;-). Then there is the Mac Guyver special (Too many tests / WontSeasons 6 has some of the best special episodes. Mac Guyver must be the prime target for their tests (A-Team was tested much later). There are two new viewer specials with interesting propositions like can you cut a tree with a machine gun, bamboo torture or does eye black really help athletes. The Alaska (Dynamite dog, cabin fever and moose mayhem) and Shark week special 2 (Repel methods) together with the next Ninja special (Catching an arrow, underwater blow dart and one inch punch) are a solid addition to this season. Overall I would say this season has the best special episodes so far. For the normal episodes: The NASA moon landing episode is a highlight. They tested the arguments for the moon landing hoax. There is the test if a lead balloon can fly and if you can surf in a wave caused by explosion. The cockroaches survive radiation test was interesting. It is commonly believed that they survive a nuclear war. The sawdust cannon was awesome. The invisible water test was actually something I knew (Sulfur Hexafluoride gas). The next highlight was the phone book friction test. Two phone books were put together page by page without glue or anything. It was tested how much force it takes to rip them apart. Pretty amazing. The drive blind from Scent of Woman was tested as were the alcohol myths. Then they tested prison break myths and continued the what is bulletproof tests. Overall they perfected the Mythbusters formula in Season 5 and don't decline. Each episode is worth watching.… Expand
