Season 4 has the best composition of myths so far and should be appreciated as classic. Even when the battery is empty(It is not really full discharged). We have this issue in health and safety briefings. They revisited the ancient death ray which was based on a legend of Archimedes. He has build a mechanism with mirrors that can ignite enemy ships from afar according to this myth. It is one myth that was revisited 3 times (Even on request by Barack Obama later on). The Helium Football test was interesting. We discussed if this would work with football fans / friends. Then there is the next historical myth. Benjamin Franklin and his kite experiment. We wondered in school how he could survive this. The next interesting experiment was Cell Phones on a Plane”. There was always a disbelieve that the instruments in a plane where not shielded. In the same episode they tested the Indiana Jones myth that you can survive using a raft when escaping a plane. The next movie myth was can a gun be fired underwater. The absolute highlight were the two episodes Crimes and Myth Demeanour. They tested the movie cliches. Like air duct infiltration, laser beams, motion detectors, finger print scanners, safe cracking methods, thermal motion sensor (Even The Predator method;-) and more. This two episodes alone would boost my rating and they got some real interesting / surprising results. The Coke and Mentos was popular in the past. You will find some awesome videos on YouTube for this. It is the thing that you enjoy when you first see the reaction. There is the Mega Movie Myth special. Totally worth watching and a highlight. I f I use the word highlight there are the old west gunslinger myths. One is from The Good, The Bad and the Ugly which is one of the best and most carefully crafted movies out there. There is the myth of the famous sniper Carlos Hathcock (The white feather). He had shoot an enemy sniper through the enemies scope. They tested this and I wont spoil. Bonus knowledge: He was a legendary sniper but there is even a greater one. Simo Häyhä called the white dead by his enemies. He was the best sniper of all time and fought in the winter war. He killed more than 500 enemies in just a year and was just a farmer (that had trained shooting his whole life). Sabaton made a great song for him. Back to Mythbusters: Overall this is the best season so far. All episodes are worth watching and there are a lot of highlights.… Expand
