    Season 2 of the best show in TV. The (Build) team consisting of Scottie Chapman, Tory Bellecci and Grant Imahara start appearing during thisSeason 2 of the best show in TV. The (Build) team consisting of Scottie Chapman, Tory Bellecci and Grant Imahara start appearing during this season (Later they were promoted to full Mythbusters). While they have not the roles they have in later seasons they are are good addition to the show. Overall they chose again excellent myths. I will admit that it is always dependable on individual interests (See Jimmy Hoffa who is unknown in my country. Test for this theory: Have you ever heard of Uwe Barschel?). There are of cause as always highlights: Can explosive decompression destroy a plane? The Jimmy Hoffa is buried under the Giants Stadium myth. Jimmy Hoffa had many connections to the Mafia, angered many powerful people and vanished without a trace. Its the stuff of many urbane legends what actually happened to him. This is one of the most famous (Its less interesting for non US citizens). The best myth is the ancient death ray. Based on a legend of Archimedes. He should have developed a mechanism with mirrors that could ignite enemy ships from afar. If was retested in later seasons even on request from Barack Obama (Yes that one). They started the “What is bullet prove” myths which would continue in later seasons and the revisit of tested myths. I like always the interaction with fans. If the fans made good suggestions a retest will be performed. The Ming dynasty astronaut is one of the most know test for the Mythbusters. While interesting I find it not in my top 10. The ping pong salvage and killer quicksand myths are a lot better. The chicken gun and the toothbrush surprise myth gave me a surprise. Overall a good season but it will even get better as the show develops.… Full Review »
