Starting with this season there are less episodes. Before there were more than 20 since 2005 and now there are only 11 in Season 11 (Further seasons had at max 15 episodes). I must admit that all episodes are really good. It is a quality over quantity approach and again there are some of my favourite episodes in this season. It is a quality over quantity approach and again there are some of my favourite episodes in this season. Lets start with the review: It starts with a revisit of the JATO rocket myth and continued with a Deadliest Catch crossover episode with Jonathan Hillstrand and Scott Campbell. In the down and dirty / earthquake episode sanitation myths were tested as was the myth where you should be inside the house at earthquakes. In the Indy car special they tested if a man can beat an Indy car in a 30 foot race, if a manhole can be removed by suction and if you can lose 10 pounds during a race. Part two of battle of the sexes put again man against women in a battle to prove prejudice or truth at parking, observation, asking for directions and multitasking. Then comes one of my favourite episodes with the motorcycle mayhem and home-made parachute test. In the first it was tested if you can drive above / across the surface of water on a motorcycle (When you are fast enough) and in the later if you can escape a tall building with a home-made parachute. The tests for hyper-milling / save fuel are actually useful in your daily life. Now comes another of my favourite episode duct tape canyon. This time the Mythbusters are stranded in the Desolate Canyon and have to escape / survive with bubble wrap and duct tape. Bonus cameo by Nick Wallenda. After that they try to paint a room with explosives and revisit the bifurcated boat myth. They ended the season with two highlight episodes (and my favourites). First they made a Breaking Bad special with guest Vince Gillain (producer) and check if mercury fulminate is as explosive and if you can destroy a human corpse as shown. The last episode is the zombie special or like we called it the Walking Dead special. They even got Michael Rooker and tested axe vs gun, escape scenarios and the collective strength of a zombie hoard. Bonus for Karis solution to escape the hoard;-). Overall less is more in this case. Its clearly quality over quantity and so far one of the best seasons.… Expand
