    The best season of my name is Earl. I was sad to see it ending, but I'm glad it went out in such a great final season. My favourite episodes of the whole series were from this season.

    After a season that became all too depressing at times My Name is Earl wisely decides to return to the formula that made it so enjoyable during its first two seasons. It perhaps never hits the consistent heights of those peak years, and the unexpected cancellation will forever leave viewers on a cliffhanger, but thanks to its great cast and dark sense of humour the show is able to go outAfter a season that became all too depressing at times My Name is Earl wisely decides to return to the formula that made it so enjoyable during its first two seasons.     One of the minor tragedies of my life was the cancellation of My Name is Earl. This was a great season, going back to the older formula with a few major plot twists, including a great Unsolved Mysteries spoof and a two-parter that finally gives us more background on Darnell. Shocked and disappointed that it was cancelled, but happy that it could go out with this many good episodes still in it.
