Only 3 episodes in the now-familiar documentary style of old footage and modern talking head interviews. The Mormons are the nicest people on the planet bar none but even among them there exist bad people and here we get to see that. A fascinating story though it tells us nothing really about Mormons, their beliefs, or culture. I especially enjoyed Mr Flynn, whose voice though affected by age or ailment was perfect for this presentation. Good show. Expand

If you know anything about Mormons beyond the LDS Church propaganda, you know Mormons are capable of some truly heinous stuff. They want to maintain a clean image, but at their core, they are culty con-men who believe their own scam. TheIf you know anything about Mormons beyond the LDS Church propaganda, you know Mormons are capable of some truly heinous stuff. They want to maintain a clean image, but at their core, they are culty con-men who believe their own scam. The story of this doc carefully tiptoes around the Church of LDS and places all the blame on one man who definitely went too far. But the thing is, Mark Hofmann and Joseph Smith did the same thing, the only difference is, Joseph Smith had his followers do his dirty work and Hofmann made a ****ing pipe bomb. The doc is well made and entertaining. Check it out. Expand
