Summary:
Emmy-winner and TV legend Dick Van Dyke stars along with his son Barry in Murder 101, a series of TV movies presented by the Hallmark Channel as part of its Mystery Movie series.
The series begins when Dr. Jonathan Maxwell, a college professor and on-call criminologist, teams up with his former student and private investigator Mike Bryant to exonerate a young woman who stands accused of murdering her boss. Dr. Maxwell, although sometimes forgetful, is quite talented at getting at the truth. Together, he and Mike make a formidable team as they catch killers who elude the police.
The series is produced by Dean Hargrove, who executive produced the Van Dykes' previous series, Diagnosis Murder.
