Apr 20, 2023This looks like it exactly my kind of goofy, and just over the top enough to actually keep me interested. Gilpin, and the entire cast are excellent in this, and the writing hasn't let them, the directors, or me down thru the first 4 episodes. I'm so totally into this. Here's to next week.

May 4, 2023This has been my favorite show of the year. A mix of tones that come together to form exactly what tv has been missing

Apr 24, 2023I'm tentatively excited to see the last four episodes. I wasn't sure what to make of it after the first two, it wasn't really as funny as I expected, but episodes 3 and 4 hooked me. I have no idea where it's going to go from here and I'm interested to find out.

Apr 22, 2023Total madness! Something completely different and fresh. It takes you on the ride flashing pop-culture, religion and other motifs, all wrapped up in a fast paced comedy with great acting. Honestly you don't have time to analizie what's happening and that's partly fun of it too. Enjoy the ride!

Apr 22, 2023I smell another Damon Lindelof masterpiece. Lost and The Leftovers are 2 of my favorite shows of all time

Apr 21, 2023So disappointed. Was expecting so much better with this team. Had such potential and just didn't deliver

Jun 19, 2023Ambitious but somewhat incoherent. They're clearly having a lot of fun but it doesn't come off. The plot turns are based in the absurd and swing from one madcap situation to the next. Very well made with excellent performances but it's largely ludicrous

Jun 16, 2023It forces you to pay attention to what is going on and why but it is worth doubling back, if need be. Gilpin carries it but the remainder of the cast aren't slouches, either. Eight episodes was enough and not enough.

It feels too early to tell where the show is really going, especially given its insane twists and reveals so far, but it’s worth joining Simone’s surreal and occasionally profound quest just to see what happens.
-
A true original that’s completely strange, “Mrs. Davis” is a breath of fresh air in a reboot-happy medium.
-
Mrs. Davis earns points for pushing boundaries and then some, while proving so out-there as to become frustrating and borderline impenetrable. Along the way, it says provocative things about religion, technology and the tensions between them, but keeping track of its intricate connections becomes more laborious as the show marches on.
