    This third (and hopefully final) season of Mr. Mercedes started very promising, with the first scene revealing the plot of the second book of the trilogy. It already seemed as a lost cause after the decision of flipping the order of the second and third book, but I remained hopeful. Pretty soon after it was obvious that the story was completely different. Pretty soon after it was obvious that the story was completely different. The main problem I find with the changes is that this version leaves you no one to root for. The main characters on the book were changed so drastically that they seem like villains themselves and the original villains are just turned big walking cliches. I wish this season would've been spared and instead they could create some mediocre court room drama at the expense of some other writer.… Expand
