First episode has been pure badass. Isaacs acting is phenomenal. Looks extremely promising. I'm hyped asf

Honestly a really well made episode. The CGI was a little bit iffy at times but the way they made the mental struggle and difficulties he had to deal with was amazing.

Giving nice Daredevil vibes. Smartly doesn’t show much initially, but I hope it escalates soon.

Jokes that do not land, bad CGI (with an insane budget), a schizophrenic script that does not know what it wants to do except to promote yet another little girl with no powers that can toss around men that are three times her mass, who just happens to be the key to everything. At this stage it looks like they are promoting her to be the next Moon Knight, but they forgot to introduce us toJokes that do not land, bad CGI (with an insane budget), a schizophrenic script that does not know what it wants to do except to promote yet another little girl with no powers that can toss around men that are three times her mass, who just happens to be the key to everything. Just another mediocre entry in the M She U where they pretend the show is about a classic hero, in a bait and switch to replace them with a woman. It would not be quite so pathetic if they cast someone with actual muscle mass, but they only want the ones with pipe-cleaner arms. Expand

This show has a really fun energy from him constantly switching between his personalities. He has a lot of "how did I get here?" moments that are exciting in an action scene.

Good presentation of the characters, and the mystery is engaging. Kind of surprised by the presence of blood but couldn't be more pleased by that. Hope the series follows this weird start. Also, the action was good. The only distracting things were a couple of bad jokes and Oscar Isaac's British accent.

I liked what I saw. The first episode was a nice introduction to Moon Knight's multiple personalities, and I liked how they played with the blackouts. Oscar Isaac is really good at what he does. I am definitely going to keep watching. Thumbs up from me.

Excellent first episode, writing, editing, acting, just brilliant,... however I'm very afraid this won't hold up. This is Disney, corporate evil incarnate.

It's refreshing to have a MCU entry that doesn't have a lot of connections to current lore and stands on it's own. The acting and directing are top notch. I cannot wait to see where this story goes!

I've gotta say this is one of the first MCU shows I actually feel dissapointed by. Before Moon Knight aired there was all this hype that it was gonna be genre-bending, trippy, experimental etc.

Never has this been less accurate, the show is a big marvel convoluted mess. It's a shame that Ethan Hawke and Oscar Isaac were wasted in a show just so mediocre. By the time the last episode hit I

Never has this been less accurate, the show is a big marvel convoluted mess. It's a shame that Ethan Hawke and Oscar Isaac were wasted in a show just so mediocre. By the time the last episode hit I had just mentally checked out. I didn't care about the stakes, there was another boring marvel CGI fight and lots of generic SUPERHERO! moments. It basically has the same trajectory as WandaVision (starts off interesting but then rapidly descends into easy marvel territory). However, in comparison, the highs of WandaVision absolutely decimate the best of Moon Knight.

Well worth skipping, if you wanna watch a trippy, interesting and novel superhero show then Legion is also right there on Disney+. It's everything Moon Knight claimed to be (and I'm rewatching it again now too)

THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS SPOILERS: The First Episode is so suspenseful, it was like a rollercoaster between Dreams, Fear, And Of Course, Suspense. this is because the flashing black screens were so designed that they shuttered in Steven’s Dream. And I also like how they used a single mirror to contain a whole lot of mirrors, giving it the ability to talk to people in other dreams and realities. I’m gonna watch the second episode now. Expand

Moon Knight is the first sub-par Marvel Series on Disney+ . The story is full of plot holes and the characters, outside of Oscar Isaac, fail to draw us in enough to care about them. This series started off well (as seen in other reviews written after the first episode), but it does not deliver in the end.

I admit that the first minutes made me nearly quit the show but then it started to get amazing. It won me over and I truly like it for the characters, lore, craziness and humour. Lets start at the beginning. Moon Knight is not the most famous Marvel hero. He is often described as “Marvels Batman” and linked with the Egyptian gods / lore. There is another mayor thing about him that I cant say as it would be a mayor spoiler. Those who know the character will know what I mean. The story follows Steven Grant who works in a museum shop in the Egyptian museum in London and hopes to become a tour guide as he has or is close to expert level about Egyptian culture, lore and mythology. His problem is that he has some serious sleep disturbances as he is sleepwalking and finds himself sometimes in places he has no memory getting there. The measures he takes to prevent this are impressive and you have to see them to fully believe this. The story takes momentum when he finds himself in a situation that can only be described as a bad dream or is there more to this? I like the story and twists. Except the first few minutes the whole story is fully entertaining. The climax is enjoyable and the post credits scene superb. I must warn you that others liked the ending less than me. However I say the story of the show is well done. Lets continue with the actors. Oscar Isaac is just amazing and a truly great protagonist. He nails his role. Ethan Hawke as Arthur Harrow is the yin to the yang. A fascinating antagonist and deep character. May Calamwy as Layla is the fitting female main character and completes the trio. The main characters have a great chemistry. The rest of the cast also delivers and makes this a true strength of the show. The practical and special effects work well and especially the mystic characters look amazing. Taweret became my favourite but the others are not bad either. I should praise the voice actors too like Murray Abraham, Saba Mubarak and Antonia Salib. Then there is the humour of the show. There are so many good scenes and situations that I enjoyed. Also they manage to get the seriousness and humour mixed in a way that non harmed the other. Overall this was an enjoyable show and I will give an 8/10. Would definitely like to see more of the characters. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It was exciting, thrilling, adventourous, emotional and fun! Its the best mcu show so far, It felt like only mcu show to not have an average/filler episode, All episodes were entertainingly awesome, The vibe and theme of this was unbelievably amazing, The music with egyptian twist and the intro's and outro's were fabulous. The cgi and visuals were stunning specially the coustumes were perfect and the egypt temples and others they were eye pleasing, The story was simple but rollercoaster, the mental health thing was nice gesture and the split personality the way it is treated and developed the marc and steve's character it was amazing, The god's involvement and there avatars (The avatar joke was hilarious) the konshu, ammit and Taweret were good, The Jokes were funny throughout the season and the meme reaction scene by both marc and spector was awesome, The sleep and wake chaos was just phenomenal, The intro scene with arthur wearing crushed glassed shoes was awesome and The starting episode was pure badass the intro to steve and his job at museum and him as sweet character then the sleep and wake in different places and his quest to find reason for it then the meet with khonshu and arthur later and the quest for finding ammit tomb and the ending I didn't expect the coustume so early (since its mcu's) the fight was just badass, then the 2nd episode layla's intro and then the arthur/ammitt talking to steve for there intensions and the marc's intro and the steve's transformation as moonknight was awesome and then the 3rd episode Egypt visit and there more mystery reveals and 4th episode and 5th episode it was emotional rollercoaster, the tomb journey was awesome the fight and layla's father secret was surprising and the ammit's revival success while marcc/steve shot dead and the khonshu's capture was shocking then the marc waking in hospital as patient and arthur as doctor it was thrilling and the 5th ep's marcc's origin story his killer persona and his brother's death and mothers treatment to him and steve's being born the whole episode is just Emotionally brilliant, then the khonshu revival by layla and the last episode with marc/steve back with layla being taweret's avatar and the fight at last just like powerranger style with megazords and mini version fighting on same land. The khonshu vs ammit fight and moonknight vs arthur fight was awesome the transformations of steve and marc in between fight was amazing and the twist transformation kills at dramatic point was insanely awesome and at last everything settled and then the mid credits 3rd personality as khonshu's "chaos-full" avatar and arthur shot dead by him it was just mindblowing end. Overall it was a Brilliantly phenomenal season its an awesomely entertaining and a great show. Expand

Very disappointing early episodes had me slightly intrigued but yhe wheels fell off.The costume for Mr Knight is trash and the David character is extremely irrating to hear his voice though I think Oscar does well I think the script hurt him. Too much placed on the female substitute hero to take away from tie character.

"Moon Knight" is an odd show in that it gives us characters and actors we'd love to spend more time with, albeit in tauter scenarios than the one presented here. ... But as it stands, "Moon Knight" may be one of those puzzle details someone else can fill in for you in the future prior to enjoying a better adaptation of another (and somehow related) Marvel adventure.
