    While it isn't without its snags, like its slow pace, it is a charming little flick about a little lass who had a first-hand experience at the home front during World War II. Emily's portrayal as a refugee, or in the era's parlance, evacuee, is definitely moving, and so is Molly's longing for her father whom she loved dearly.
