Aug 1, 2022Definitely could have covered the same information in 3 episodes - not un-enjoyable, but a bit draggy in places.

Unlike plenty of past Netflix shows in this genre (think: “Tiger King”), “Meltdown” is relatively right-sized with only the fourth, 45-minute episode feeling somewhat repetitive.

Instead of a rehash of an event that could be easily researched, Meltdown: Three Mile Island takes a familiar event from the past half-century and fills in people’s gaps in information and debunks commonly held beliefs about the event.

A slow burn of well-controlled indignation, “Meltdown” makes Parks’ case methodically and well.
