    The decision to hire Meghan Kelly was one of NBC's worst decisions made. She is an arrogant and mean-spirited person who is a terrible reflection on the network. She comes across as phony and disinterested in anyone but herself. Because of her self-absorbing personality, she is a terrible interviewer and is very defensive. Just compare her on-air persona with Savannah and Hoda. NightThe decision to hire Meghan Kelly was one of NBC's worst decisions made. She is an arrogant and mean-spirited person who is a terrible reflection on the network. She comes across as phony and disinterested in anyone but herself. Because of her self-absorbing personality, she is a terrible interviewer and is very defensive. Just compare her on-air persona with Savannah and Hoda. Night and day. NBC should cut their losses and get her off the air. She is a miserable and angry person who should find another line of work. She actually had the nerve to congratulate Hoda on her new co-anchor position and in the same breathe talk about Hoda's "dark" period. This was shocking, unprofessional and inexcusable. But because it came from Meghan, it was not surprising. So sad. I am a loyal NBC news watcher but now switch channels at 9 a.m.… Expand

    The former ice queen of hard line political commentary is trying hard to revamp her image, and create a show with niceties of morning entertainment, and it does NOT work!!
    She is trying to be all pleasant and sweet, while putting on a bewildering array of haphazard topics. Clearly, she and this show are floundering, and it's painful to watch.

    I was never a Fox Viewer but on occasion watched MK on her show. I always thought she would leave Fox based on her views, many unbiased. My wife and I had been taping her new morning show until today. She seems to be showing that she can't remain unbiased whatsoever.     Morning shows provide entertainment. Sandwiched between the reliably excellent Today Show and the entertaining Kathy Lee and Hoda, Megan is simply out of place. Give her an afternoon slot or weekend. Whatever the topic, Megan predictably comes out on the partisan liberal position with a sledge hammer for serious argument. This is NOT acceptable entertainment. Nothing entertaining about herMorning shows provide entertainment.     After reading all of these comments, I now realize why the Megyn Kelly show is rated so poorly by metacritic subscribers. Essentially, you have tried and true NBC Morning Show devotees watching someone with an intellect they cannot understand or relate to and an opinion independent of the network.     I think Megyn Kelly's morning show is very awkward, almost uncomfortable to watch. She has no on screen personality and doesn't bring anything to interviews and conversations. I started watching the show this morning to give it another chance (I've tried to get through it a few times before) and I couldn't get pass the first 15 minutes. Her conversation with Savannah Guthrie about the protesters harassing Mitch McConnell's wife was very pro Republican. She only mentioned instances where conservatives were harassed and she mentioned Trump once in a very dismissive way. I guess she forgot that Trump specifically directed his supporters to rise up against Clinton if he lost the election - and he did NOT mean verbally. I never write these things but I was so incensed by this I felt compelled to write this review. NBC can do better with this hour. I also thought it racist the way she pronounced the names she considered "foreign" - these a the subtle forms of racism that slip in and we let slide. Go back and look at the tape and the way she pronounces Roberto and Conde (not sure this was the name but it will be on the video). This should not be acceptable to NBC.… Expand

    I find Megan Kelly narcissistic, rude, and cut throat. She is destroying a program that used to be interesting. Get her off the air!

    Concerning today's show, July 24, 2018. There was a segment about five policemen and some controversy about their religious slant. I was wondering, and it wasn't brought up, what the reactions would have been if these were five Muslim men with all the trimmings of the Muslim religion. With the panel have been equally as excepting? Just curious.

    Megyn Kelly's show continues to be awkward in every way a year in. It jumps instantly from sad, emotional stories, which she tends to awkwardly rush, to upbeat and light ones, like cooking segments which she is even worse at. The show needs a daily theme to prevent this jumping around. She can't stop expressing her own often smug opinion stepping on those of her guests she is supposedlyMegyn Kelly's show continues to be awkward in every way a year in. Her inability of her to ignore and move on after Jane Fonda's criticism of her after their first cringe making interview, responding with a segment using 1968 film clips was hard to watch and should not have been allowed to air. I have only an over the air antenna and my choices are limited so I usually turn it off or watch Netflix. Kathy Lee Gifford is embarrassing sometimes in her comments that express clueless entitlement but at least she is an on camera pro.… Expand

    I do not watch this show any more for several reason. First they ousted a great journalist ANN CURRY because of Mat Lauer's dislike for her probably, due to him feeling insecure and envious of her abilities which were as good if not better that his and also because she was not some one he could use his power over to get in the sac. Second the underhanded way they handled the demotion of Tamron Hall. Third the lack of diversity of their staff. It is apparent that minorities are not represented equally. Recently they must have recognized this so they decided to upgrade Craig Melvin. They also try sneak tactics to increase viewers for the Meghan Kelly segment by having other staff members join her. Meghan I think by the way is rude, narcissistic and dismissive of other people a very poor choice for the show.. I faithfully watched this show for years, at this point nothing they do would regain my loyalty.… Expand

    Maybe the network thought they would attract a "different audience" by adding Megy Kelly to their lineup, but I think that might have backfired. Case in point, the recent show with guest Tom Arnold. I am not personally a TA fan, but the spectacle of him being berated and bashed by MK was disgusting and a waste of air time.     I was pleasantly surprised to be enjoying Megyn Kelly's show and taped it so I could sit down and watch it later in the day. Several friends said the same.. After watching it in the last few weeks, I am done!! I didn't think this was supposed to be a political and one sided show. My vote, let her go back to Fox, where she has much more in common with their network's theme. She loves to keep reminding us that she's an attorney - we know, we know - but she is abusing the fact that she is VERY strongly opinionated and prosecutor attorney like in what is supposed to be a give and take talk show with very interesting material. I am really disappointed and believe she is now behaving more like "the man" she tangled with in the presidential debates of 2016. Change the format and/or change the lead lady! She's a big disappointment… Expand

    The first week of Megyn Kelly Today most closely resembled a familiar political ritual: an awkward rebranding campaign by handlers trying to humanize their candidate. ... It’s just not enjoyable.

    Kelly herself tried to reframe her narrative, kicking off the show by giving a bit of history about herself. (Well, sort of. She never mentioned “Fox News” once.) It was perhaps the most honest part of the show, as Kelly recounted the death of her father when she was just a teenager. ... But the rest of Megyn Kelly Today remained a bit unfocused.

    The host was so buried under cloying anecdotes and “cute” moments (her husband was in the audience and gave her roses!) that any appeal she might have naturally had was buried by carefully stage-managed artifice. ... In an interview with the cast and creators of NBC’s own “Will & Grace,” Kelly never established a relaxing rapport with them. ... In a later segment on a nun who works with young people and bereaved mothers in a low-income neighborhood in Chicago, Kelly again never quite connected with her subjects. The pre-taped piece had little depth.
