I loved seeing them interact with each other and hearing their banter. I liked every action scene. Great combat choreography as we've come to expect from the Netflix Marvel series. I also think the pacing was good, I don't remember ever being bored. There are also some twists in the story. One of the main criticisms of this series was that the Hand was a boring and underwhelming villain. I don't think that. They weren't the best villain, but they weren't bad by any means. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. While Defenders is far from perfect and has its flaws, and it has some good stuff in it as well. It nicely balances all the characters who are involved in the show and allows the involvement of those characters to make sense so it doesn’t feel like they were all thrown together just for fan service. The story and plot of the show makes sense and remains straightforward enough throughout it so that nothing gets too confusing, which is impressive considering that basically every big character from every one of the solo shows appears in Defenders at some point. The action is pretty good and it’s cool to see this group of heroes working together for the greater good. A core theme of this show, as generic and cliche as it may be, is that there are some things you simply can’t do alone and teamwork can achieve a lot when it’s done right. All that said, there are moments where the direction and dialogue are awkward. The actors do their best to overcome this, but they aren’t successful 100% of the time which causes some scenes to be disrupted. Even the action feels iffy at times, which is disappointing since there are a bunch of talented fighters in this show. The worst part about this season is the pacing, which is mostly due to it having 8 episodes and not 13 like the solo shows. This causes the season to feel a bit too fast which leaves certain things underdeveloped and it’s clear that parts of this season had to be rushed to fit it into the 8 episodes. Defenders would’ve benefitted immensely from slower pacing to give more time for the plot and characters to develop and give the season depth. Overall, though, Defenders is enjoyable enough and manages to get past its flaws on many occasions. Expand

The defenders is an honestly disappointing miniseries. What was supposed to be the Avengers of television was ruined by the inclusion of iron fist.

Aburrida y decepcionante, fue la prueba definitiva de que el universo Marvel creado por Netflix no funcionaba.

Well.....they tried at least.

Also 'The Hand' are terrible villains. I'm glad this is the last time we see them.

Marvel 's The Defenders is one of Marvel 's weakest series. The idea of the crossover itself is different, and the characters are interesting (well apart from Iron Fist). But in fact, the series can be finished watching after series 3. SolidMarvel 's The Defenders is one of Marvel 's weakest series. Solid stognation of the plot and boring action of the scene (again remembered Iron Fist). In general, the series does not take advantage of more than one opportunity to plot the film series Marvel. What's an attempt to be the Avengers/Justice League for TV comes across as being forced and ultimately a mediocre show.
