Jessica Jones is such a complex, deep, charismatic and well-written protagonist and anti-hero with excellent performance from Krysten Riller she is perfect casting for the character and her acting is just fantastic. First season especially is absolutely phenomenal and has one of the best most brutal villains in the entire MCU in Killgrave and the greatest story and 2 and 3 season while not quite at that level still have great storytelling and good character development for Jessica and interesting detective investigative stories. Highly recommend it excellent show with superb acting and great writing. Expand

The series itself is executed at the middle level, in fact the series is more for femenists than for an ordinary viewer. The whole series holds on to the main antagonist - Killgrave, which is very specific to it super-ability.
The second season is built on the relationship between Jones and his mother. From the point of view of the development of the character, he is much more holistic and interesting. But again, the season is too long. The final series gives hope that in the 3rd final season the story will finally be told to the end and parallel branches will be completed.

Jessica Jones is one of the best shows in the Netflix Marvel series. It's a mature show that deals with dark topics. Great performances by Krysten Ritter, Rachael Taylor and Carrie-Anne Moss. It has three seasons.

The first season is the best because it has a very interesting and unique villain played by the extremely talented David Tennant. Excellent story and twists. Season one Jessica Jones is top-notch quality. If it isn't better than Daredevil, it's on par with it.

The second season is the weakest of the three, but still very much watchable. Slow at the beginning, but it picks up later on. Some people didn't like the villain, but I did.

The third and last season is very good. Not as good as the first one, but fairly close. It captivated me from the beginning until the end. I wasn't bored one second. Great villain, great story and great twists.

This show has a great first season that lowers in quality in its second. Some of the greatest written characters and villains in the MCU.

Rachel Taylor as Trish and Carrie Anne Moss as Jeri gave award worthy performances. The villain of Foolkiller was sufficiently scary even though he wasnt super. The story did lag a bit in the middle but I'm OK with that. This season raises interesting questions about what it means to be super. Does that mean one can take the law into their own hands and become a vigilante? Trish says "yes". Jessica says "no". And if so, who gets to decide who lives and dies? I understand Trish's rage but it is a slippery slope. It seems that violence had become Trish's latest addiction. That's very dangerous for her and everyone around her (be they guilty or innocent). I would liked to have seen a more upbeat ending but that's probably not true to Jessica Jones (the character and the series). Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

I couldn't make it past the first season. Being generous with a 2 rating. Very unlikable main character.
