Oct 14, 2014Casey Wilson is back working with David Caspe, and the results are promising, even from the pilot. The writing is quick and funny and Ken Marino and Casey Wilson bring out great performances especially Wilson (who's definitely channeling her inner "Penny"). I hope this show lives up to its creator's previous effort, Happy Endings.

Oct 14, 2014Quick writing and hilarious comedic performances by the entire cast (SNL alum Casey Wilson especially) help this show through sitcom cliches. The quick writing is layered with tons of jokes packed within each scene and is delivered with awkward comedic ease by Wilson and Marino.

Nov 1, 2014The leads are charming and the writing is tight--and I mean tight. "Marry Me" is poised and quite good. All it needs to do is have some sort of conflict week-to-week and be a little less predictable.

Oct 31, 2014Stupid sophomoric writing and totally unlikable and juvenile characters made this painfully excruciating to watch. On top of that the political correct preachiness makes me want ot puke. How this even got on the air is beyond me. How many good shows didn't make the cut so that this piece of garbage could. Very sad.

Oct 14, 2014Watching this Happy Endings imposter makes me mourn the loss of the "amah-zing" Happy Endings so much more. Marry Me is not bad but it is no Happy Endings. The very talented Casey Wilson is reprising her Penney character here, pratfalls and all. Parts of Marry Me are greater than the whole.

Oct 15, 2014Marry Me shows promise of a new Happy Endings. I know, I know, I'm saying that because of Casey Wilson. But really, she's funny here and so is Ken Marino.
I hope the show delivers and I pray that if it does, it doesn't meet the same fate as Happy Endings. That show didn't deserve to be cancelled. -
Jan 8, 2015I've watched every episode of this show and can honestly say this show is hard to watch. I keep wanting to like this show but just can't. The jokes fall flat and you can almost predict what the joke is going to be about. Predictable, sophomoric and frequently unfunny. The cast is likeable enough but the writing leaves a lot to be desired.

Marry Me starts off annoying and unlikable and rarely dips from that, even though fans of Happy Endings will no doubt tune in for star Casey Wilson and for that show's creator, David Caspe, who also created this one.

It doesn't stretch itself too thin working for laughs, but rather earns them genuinely.

[Marry Me is] just too much an embodiment of the sitcom usual, and the gender-stereotypes usual, and the network-creativity usual.
