Even though there is dialogue, most of the action features Atkinson's physical encounters in quiet panic. While I was a big fan of Mr. Bean, the humor here seldom lands. There's lots of destruction and mayhem, but most of it is predictable and rather flat. Kids will probably enjoy.
*Each ep runs from 10 to 20 minutes with a total running time of 108 minutes, not even a full movie length.

Atkinson delivers a fantastic performance as Trevor. A man with a complete lack of situational awareness and an obsessive mind to boot.

The short 10-minute episodes perfectly frames the chaos that unfolds.

Don't be fooled by the title of the show though. Although there's plenty of Man vs Bee in here, there is also so much more. A sneak peek into Trevor's inner workings, and the troubles he causes for himself being who he is. It's sad, but also ultimately endearing.

It's definitely funny. I don't know why its split into part though. Its 'really a seamless movie you can watch in one sitting.

The series, consisting of 9 episodes and lasting approximately 10 minutes per episode, starring Rowan Atkinson. While a very wealthy husband and wife are on vacation, they call a house sitter from a company to take care of their dog and keep an eye on the house. Trevor, who is troubled by the bee that chases him on his way home, intends to spend a few days in the house full of antiques and works of art and go on vacation with his daughter with the money he earns.

While the series is quite funny in places, it also stretches people like a thriller. Rowan atkinson is really funny. My daughter and I finished it in one sitting and we liked it.

There is no sex or nudity in the show.

Somehow they also found a way to take the most forseeable and dull scenarios for talking Mr. Bean to bumble through.

Rowan Atkinson is a great actor when he had roles that had something to say other than exclaim "oh gosh!" ten times in a row. Think "Blackadder" if you want to see him at his best. And only because he didn't just 'splat' the Bee, they're dying by the hiveloads anyway, right?

I also applaud Netflix' gusto to split up what was very likely produced as a movie into a "Series" by cutting the "story" up into supposedly easy-to-digest roughly 9 Minute pieces.

Well, if you dislike cauliflower, would eating a whole head of it in 10 small pieces make it more delectable? You can answer that question for yourself. My answer is a hearty: "nope!"

It's a 3 because, well, the CGI Bee is really well animated, folks! But that's about it.

Great show! Only if it was a full length movie, that would be better, but still, I had a great laugh and fun time.

Repetitive as it is, no one can ignore Rowan Atkinson's fantastic slapstick bits.

In contrast to Mr. Bean or Johnny English, who were cartoonish and unrealistic but suited their films, Trevor is very much... human. He's awkward, preoccupied, and a little silly, but many people are. Being a good person who is frequently haunted by fate sabotaging my ambitions and making me appear foolish in the eyes of others, I felt a great deal of sympathy for him. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. TBH, it was fine the storyline was pretty flat and had nothing much to it barring the twist on the owner insurance fraud at the end. However, the emotional and comedic angle of the series works well, and there are many parts that could make you burst out laughing like him going through the dog entrance scene. But after that nothing much. The 10 min approach to episodes are interesting I felt like it could have better off being an 80-110 min movie than a tv show with 10min episodes as it did not feel like it. A tv show that's fine with a basic storyline and funny parts to it. Only worth a watch if you have nothing else to watch or do or if you like Rowan a lot :) Expand
