Have we, as a society, become ignorant? This show is nothing but a series of policy questions, with answers being overtly provided to us which are subtly wrapped in 'Proper Thinking' instructions. I'd like to believe that the American public is too intelligent to swallow what this show is trying to spoon feed us. A bit better than last season but still a shadow of what it should be. At least the Henry character is whining less.

I've watched all 5 seasons so far, some episodes several times. MSec is a gem: intelligent and entertaining. Tea Leoni and Tim Daly have great chemistry and the stories present big subjects and problems and complications that verge on plausible for what our leaders would face. What a disappointment the season premier was. So disjointed, some of the camera shots look like they were done by a 5 yr. old, what was with all the over the shoulder shots, like someone was playing peekaboo!! Believe it was only 30 minutes, with 30 minutes of commercials, guess they had to pay for the high dollar guest stars. Hillary Clinton's not such a veiled description of what makes America great was abominable. Tearing down Poland a freedom loving nation-state by accusing it of lacking diversity is abhorrent. Diversity is when people of different cultures living in the same country share their culture with others without trying to impose it on others. Poland and Hungary have invited many Ukrainian refugees to live in their country. These Ukrainian refugees respect the laws and culture of their new host countries while they contribute something of their own to the mix without imposing their cultural ideals on others. However, this is not the case with so many of the countries in the middle east. They come to a country and demand to impose their legal system upon their host country. They mistreat and abuse women and men in their host country with criminal behavior that is atrocious. So when Poland and Hungary refuse to participate in this failed social experiment, they are reprimanded not only by the EU and the leftist media but now by your TV show as well. Shame on you for being so one-sided. How come you do not do a story about how crimes against women and crimes, in general, have risen to unheard of heights in Sweeden and Germany. How the streets of Paris, once a bastion of European culture, have become one sprawling prayer mat. How Italy a Catholic country has been assaulted with a demand that the crucifixes be taken down in the classrooms. You do not come to live in someones home and then demand that they have to change the furniture and the culture and religious beliefs to accommodate them. You give them a room in your home where they can live as they want without demanding that you have to change how you live in the rest of the house. Shame on you for trying to cast negative aspersions on Poland. Shame on you for allowing Hillary to speak nonsense. I AM DONE. Your show has gone off the deep end. I will not be watching anymore. I could not even finish episode 2 which I viewed in hopes that you would get back on track and that the Hillary nonsense was a mistake you would not make again. But then you started in on Poland. Whoever is writing this is a lefty lunatic who believes in the ridiculous idea that the USA needs to be run as a democratic socialist country, The writer needs to learn something about our constitutional Republic. Goodbye and good riddance. Expand

After watching Madam Secretary from its Inception, and loving it, as it seem to be very fair in representing conservative as well as leftist views, your episode that brought in the three previous secretaries of State was abominably one-sided, and I will never watch or record your show again

The show has become propaganda for whatever is being talked about in the liberal news. Sure makes your writers' jobs easy - no thought process necessary - just spew whatever CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC are saying. Sadly, you have lost me and eventually all of these people will be out of work. Excellent! Tia Leoni is absolutely a breath of fresh air. The family interaction is superb. The only issue I have is Sarah Rameriz. I spent 30 years in Dep of Defense and this character does not fit, especially in the White House. While an Emmy may not be forthcoming, Clinton acquits herself well in this fifth-season launch of a hit that wants--and occasionally has--some of that ol' "West Wing" mojo.
