Your science is all wrong! Climate Change is NOW Global Cooling. We are in a solar minimum. Troposphere is very rapidly cooling. Earth will COOL for the next 11, 40, or perhaps even 400 years like the middle ages. Please do your research, rather than listening to leftist radicals and loons!

I record a few shows... this is one of them... but I've relegated it to the bottom of the list. Once I've watched all my other recordings, I might get to this one... or not. I used to love this show but Season 5 has turned into a liberal talking points show. They totally exaggerate all the conditions that democrats push. I’m sure they are not interested in the deplorables in this country! So be it. I hope you have enough liberals to keep you going. I’m done

I love the characters and before this year I liked the fact that they were not overtly political. Now however they have become way too liberal. I would also not be a fan if they became way too conservative. I want to continue loving the characters and the show, you have a couple of weeks to get back to great story telling or you will go on with one less fan and at one time your super fan.

I used to enjoy Madam Secretary. It always had a super leftist slant, but, lately it's gotten out of control. Not only that, but the plots are getting increasingly silly. This show has become way too liberal for me and there is too much time spent on the family life of the characters.

I agree that Tea Leoni is highly watchable, and that the writing is good, but the show has become so biased it is scary.. Yes, this show is treacle-laced propaganda. The story lines have become so offensive that I can no longer watch it. Demonizing and lying about the people who protect us is just wrong.

Love the actors, hate the recent content. Globalism is dying, Hollywood. Both parties underestimate the resolve of US voters to protect our country from media globalist sponsors. We recognize propaganda when we see it. Sorry, Hillary. You lost. Politicians will be held accountable for policies that sell out our interests and the entire Western world via WTO, UN, etc .

And how much room the new girls has gotten is ridiculous. I hope they cancel this show. Expand

I was extremely disappointed in the 1st show of season 5. I deleted the recording and will not be watching ever again. When you can't enjoy a show without it becoming political, well....I won't be watching again. Tia Leoni was excellent and I have watched all episodes up to this one. Maybe you will decide political is not the way to gain an audience but entertainment might be better

I used to LOVE this show but after having Hilary Clinton on last night when she should truly be in prison, and then having Sara Ramirez on who is clearly a **** I just can't watch this anymore. So sad because I really did like the other actors. Arm Candy and all. :) I love Tia Leoni but just can't watch it anymore.

Used to enjoy "Madame Secretary" but no longer. Typical left-wing propaganda from CBS and the other fakenews networks. The most recent disgrace was the hiring of that transgender who took over the show subject last night. Just another example of CBS pushing their agenda. I won't watch anymore because I know they are just trying to advance another "cause"..........

Nov. 19,2017: I have enjoyed watching Madame Secretary while wishing more government officials could be like her but now that the show is becoming more liberal and promoting liberal views, I've turned it off. Tonight's show was about global warming and perma frost, etc...scientist have not come up with any definitive answers regarding global warming so why not keep the show from promoting liberal views since I bet more than half of the viewers do not accept them. I love this show - it's just good fun. Leoni and Daly have great chemistry, and the family interaction adds a nice balance to the political drama. It's also nice to see people trying to act ethically in the complicated world of politics. Yes, it's a little campy, but it's a lot of fun to watch!

Excellent character acting by all central characters and intelligent good writing. Loosely based on some actual events along with a healthy serving of flag waving but it's a TV show and if you can get past that, it's well worth watching .

This show has definitely earned itself a place in my Sunday night routine, and for a good reason. I rarely watch television, mainly because of the prevalence of filler shows, the preference of quantity over quality, and the complete lack of 'acceptable' shows to watch, however this show is always an entertaining treat to me before the week renews itself. Now I mention this lack of 'acceptable' shows with a strong emphasis on the tendency of these shows to have one or two good characters, the rest played by greatly sub-par actors with frequent almost embarrassing moments. This show not only puts forward a great cast that has proved themselves to be worthy of their positions on this show, but the writing also is much better than I had expected when I began watching. Now I look at the comments written before me and I am baffled. I won't go into details but I suggest we take this show at face value and we admire the great cast and writing they have, ignoring our own bias and the bias the show puts forward, because with the overwhelming gap between liberal and conservative views us members of the audience cant seem to distinguish clashing opinions to one's own from this 'propaganda' that people keep mentioning. This is a great show with a problem. That problem doesn't stem from its own show. It is a result of the modern gap between clashing views and the alienation of contrary beliefs that is becoming more and more frequent. It does have some questionable moments which I didn't really think was good but 95% of the time I was always deeply satisfied by the events that occurred each week. This is the only show I would recommend at this time. Expand

I was particularly "amazed" by the episode of the USA President forcing his way to the EU summit, to prevent the German chancellor from "throwing" Greece out from the EU. I really do wonder to which extent the last episode - showing the dangerous double game of the Ukrainian Prime Minister - shows the White House today's concern about this country and relations with Russia in the real world.
