Summary:
It is the year 2059 AD, 60 years has passed since the city-sized alien spacecraft crashed on Earth. Humankind has been forced to spread itself out in the galaxy after the massive interstellar war with the Zentradi, this is done in order to survive and to find land in all directions of space. The space crafts used to transport these large populations is called The Macross Frontier home to 10 million residents. Macross Frontier is the story of humankind as it struggles to survive after a war wrought with destruction that threatens to snuff out humankind.
Characters:
Saotome Alto: He is a 16 year old trainee pilot who has gone against his father's wishes to try and become a pilot.
Ranka Lee: She is a 15 year old girl who aspires to become a singer like her idol Sheryl Nome. She work part-time in a chinesse restaurant. This green haired young girl is the sister of Ozma Lee.
Ozma Lee: He is the Chief Pilot of Private Special Duty Military Organization 'S.M.S.'. He is Ranka Lee's older brother. His team pilots the new VF-25 variable fighter.
Sheryl Nome: She is a famous idol singer, 17 years of age and nicknamed the "Fairy of the Galaxy".
