To be MacGyver, there must be inventive improvisations in each and every show. When the original lost that quality it ceased to be as good. This show needs to keep this in mind.

Will reserve my opinion on the new cast - most are adequate - but am still not certain about the Phoenix boss character. They write her too mean and nasty. This needs to morph to wise and a bit “you can’t put anything over on me” like Heddy on NCIS LA.

Do not like Murdoc character at all. I know every fictional hero is supposed to have a corresponding villain, but Murdoc is just too creepy and over the top for my taste. Don’t enjoy any shows with a Murdoc plot.

Season 2 is far better than the amazing season 1, especially with the addition of Isabel Lucas as Cage! Can't wait to see more...

It is refreshing to watch a show that revolves around smart people. Most shows and jokes revolve around dumb people or ideas. Unfortunately the addition of Cage to the cast lowered the enjoyment. She is not a great actress and made scenes forced and less believable and therefore less enjoyable. It’s too bad really. The show and the premise is enjoyable and entertaining. Full Review »
