There are few shows that are entirely amazing. This is one of them.

Following Nathan Ford as he struggles after the death of his son from cancer, who might have been saved if the insurance company he worked for had approved an experimental treatment, he uses his talents at security to play for the other side.

I forgot to mention that Nate didn't work a 'desk job' or paid out for your totaled car, he was a high end insurance investigator for million dollar pieces of art. He, formerly, made a living figuring out how criminals stole things, if the client had anything to due with it, and in some cases, getting the stole merchandise back.

Now armed with a crew of thieves he steps in where the law leaves off, "The rich and powerful take what they want, we steal it back for you." Nate slowly works through his son's death, reunites with his now ex-wife, becomes what he hates most, takes on the most impossible jobs to prove he can, reconciles with this criminal father, and finally.... well, maybe you should just watch it.

And while Nate is the protagonist, all of the other characters develop through the series.

Sophie the con artist questions who she is under her hundreds of false identities.

Parker the psychopathic thief finds herself caring for clients and relying on others.

Elliot the hitter has to address his past and remember he can come back from the things he's done.

Hardison the hacker has to realize that not everything can be done behind a computer screen and not every issue can be worked out beforehand.

I could continue, but all I want to do now is begin another rewatch. I never regret it. And while the series has ended, a sequel series is coming soon and if it's half as good as the original, I expect it to be well worth a watch.
