    It seems impossible to say enough for the unfailing wit and nuance of Sally Wainwright's script, or for the skill that shaped this mix of family melodrama and romantic comedy into the marvelous brew it is.

    It's obvious that Sally Wainwright is super talented. The dialogue is brilliant -- it's witty, sarcastic, poignant, and deeply moving all atIt's obvious that Sally Wainwright is super talented. Sarah Lancashire's subtle but powerful performance is simply mind-blowing. That said, the story can sometimes be too clichéd and melodramatic, which is a damn shame because Wainwright can most certainly do better than that.… Full Review »
