    I have liked this show in the past and can tolerate it now. Getting way too formula and the acting is often phoned in. The "I'm pregnant, and get a pass on everything" subplot for the oldest daughter has been a pain to follow this season. The son-in-laws are okay, but there needs to be more conflict between them and Mike to create better stories.

    Still don’t like the Mandy actress    I have liked this show in the past and can tolerate it now. Getting way too formula and the acting is often phoned in.     Still don’t like the Mandy actress recast. She has nothing of the personality and potential glamour of the prior actress and none of the wit or comedic timing. Do not understand that casting choice at all. Yes, going for a clone of the first actress might have been a mistake, but going for a direct opposite makes even less sense.

    The group of grumpy old men at the store needs a shake up. Do they actually work or just putter around creating forced subplots? The latter, one would assume.    … Expand

    I still love this show but this season has been kind boring and not as funny as before, I just think it might have run it's course. The acting from Tim Allen, Héctor Elizondo, and Krista Marie Yu was great. The writing this season has been good and funny bu just not as funny as it has been in the past. Overall this was a good season but not great.
