Bad writing, poor acting. I wasn't able to stand it any more past the 15 minute mark.Family that I asked and friends agree. It's just awful.

There are other actors of average to below average quality. It seems that casting of most of the characters were erratic.

The premise of the series involves the La Brea tar pits area during current time and also around 15,000 B.C. It will be interesting to see how accurate the 15,000 B.C. time period is portrayed.

I think most individuals will find the writing of the script to be of not good quality. David Appelbaum probably shouldn't have produced the final script. What we see is what many would consider a rough draft - that has potential.

I'll continue to view the series. It will be interesting to see if its potential develops.

Absolute stupidity... garbage concept with soon-to-be garbage scripts and dumpster diving fans of such a mountain of human waste... thank God the production industry will (hopefully) go on strike. I want to see the producers try to make this stupid show on iPhone 13's!

I'm not very good at a lot of things but telling between good TV and total crap isn't one of them. If you made it through episode one without puking, congratulations. If this show makes it past season one, pity should be felt upon Americans. We have truly been zombified. I can't think of a show in the last 10 years with a 99% possibility of failure. La Brea is that show. Don't bother.

    It’s tremendously, gloriously, educationally bad.

The characters are cutouts, and the primordial predators aren’t remotely frightening because the CGI budget isn’t high enough. It’s not a good show, but perhaps it’s not trying to be – this is popcorn entertainment that will keep you reasonably amused as it barrels along in its own silly way.

There’s enough to like about La Brea that will keep viewers watching, despite the show’s more silly and cheesy elements, especially the mystery of where the “lost” Angelenos are and why they’re there.
