I watched the first 2 Episodeds and the only thing the series got out of me was a couple of facepalms and cringe. The "action" is in slowmo to hide the fact that the cast can't really do Kung Fu. Also she finds everything she needs in terms of information because of stupid luck or an "old grandma that says oh what a cute couple" while she WALKS past a dude she never met before. Do yourself a favor and dodge this.… Expand

The acting in this show is terrible. Like they're reading the lines. I was looking forward to a new spin on a classic but couldn't get through the first episode. Another Canadian flop.

I was able to tolerate about 5 minutes of this stupidity before turning it off.

The lead character runs away and joins an all female(!) monastery in China because she doesn't want to meet a nice college educated Chinese boy. She is fullyI was able to tolerate about 5 minutes of this stupidity before turning it off.

The lead character runs away and joins an all female(!) monastery in China because she doesn't want to meet a nice college educated Chinese boy.

She is fully trained in time to be prepared when the monastery is attacked by men(!!), who some how manage, with the use of cheesy fx, to set roofing tiles(!!!) ablaze.

More brainless crap from the CW.

A mostly Asian cast that is likeable and good-looking. The story line is predictable and could be better written. But with the current news cycle of Asian hate crimes, my oh my it's refreshing to see Asian women kick ass.

So good and has many awesome characters. It does feel like other shows already on the network, but it is still unique because it is fantasy and has a mostly Asian cast.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Clásica serie que tiene una chica como protagonista que es fuerte y quiere romper con todas las tradiciones familiares en busca de su propia libertad.
La utilería que se usa en la serie es muy mala, se nota el bajo presupuesto. Por otro lado, las actuaciones bien, no son malas, pero tampoco son dignas de ser recordadas.
Aproximadamente en el minuto 11:30 del primer capítulo, la madre de la protagonista le hace una pregunta clave: ¿por qué no me dijiste nada?. Esta pregunta, aunque pueda parecer un poco tonta, es uno de los mayores problemas en muchas series y películas. Pues de haber preguntado, muchas cosas se podrían haber evitado.
Obviamente, como frutilla del postre de la propia escena, la prota se enfada y se va. Todo esto porque no quiere reconocer su error, ya que piensa que nada es culpa suya.… Expand
