At times **** godawful. I would tell why, but the problem is that I can't really remember what happens. Effectively it's like a four episode story stretched in to 8 episodes. It. Never. ****. EEEEEENDS.

King Philip's not happy with Sir Landry because of a couple screwdrivers in the first season. And the show definitely makes sure you know that. I believe for episodes 1-4 every single scene with Philip involves him having temper tantrums or talking **** about Landry. He will make Landry pay! Oh he will, he will see justice. I believe I saw one of those scenes in episode six too. But Landry is still alive in that episode too. Everything else in the show has to do with Landry joining the Templar's again and Mark Hamill training him and the other recruits. The other recruits looked exactly the **** same and had absolutely nothing to do. To be honest neither did Landry. Neither did anyone really. I don't know what I watched. Landry's been in this show for two seasons now and he still has absolutely no character. That bar scene in season one is still the only scene in the entire show that gave some personality to any character. Mark Hamill has something going for him thanks to his committed acting, but he disappears in episode five I think which was another dumbass call.

Everyone else's acting is bad and identical to each other. Either growly low braindead conversations or just screaming and yelling. It's fuuuucking gaaarbage. Episodes 7 and 8 were the only ones with any story momentum. But then it all ended and I didn't care about the ending nor about another season if one ever happens. I'm not sure what the **** the HBO people have been smoking lately. Stay away from this, season 2's dog****

Season 1 was good and I have high hopes for season 2 as well.
As season 2 begins, we find Landry (Tom Cullen) fallen from grace and on his knees begging to be taken back into the Knights Templar.
After much debate the decision is made to allow Landry to rejoin starting over at the bottom as a initiate. Landry must prove himself worthy or be forever banned from the becoming a Templar.
Landry is to be trained by Talus (Mark Hamill) a crusty old Templar who does not seem to care for Landry in the least.

Once again the sets, costumes and locations are all top notch. Season 2 appears to off to a great start. I am looking forward to see what follows as the season progresses.
