Oct 4, 2017A show that offers HOPE and feel goods when our reality is crumbling. I love this show and will continue to watch! The entire cast is perfect. I'm excited to see where this show takes us, and I'm even more excited to see a show that's not about murder and loss cross my television. I love it!

Oct 4, 2017Felt immediately connected to the characters. Ritter has impeccable timing to go along with his endearing earnestness. I'm a sucker for anything that makes me feel good, have a couple laughs, and maybe shed a tear. More please!

Dec 14, 2017this show is a much needed one. It shows that with hope you can do anything. I hope with the extension of the season that ABC makes the right decision on RENEWING Kevin... For a 2nd season.

Nov 1, 2017Easily the best new show of 2017. Not trashy, very creative, and funny. Great acting across the board. Storylines that are not repetitive. Absolutely fantastic.

Dec 22, 2017This show is absolutely fantastic. It has a lot of heart, but it's also funny. Jason Ritter is amazing. As The Mayor, this drama is hopeful and believes that there is more good than evil in the world and that's just great. There should be more shows like this on TV. Escapism at its best.

Oct 6, 2017I am surprised that the show's producers did not ask Morgan Freeman to guest star. While there are portions of this show that were amusing, I felt the concept was a rip-off of the movie were Freeman played God.

The specifics of Kevin's mission are fuzzy and the execution of how he goes about trying it are clunky and the last 10 minutes are such hokey schmaltz it would take a brilliant first 30 minutes to support them. The first 30 minutes aren't brilliant.

The problem is that there is so much stone-skipping across tones in the first episode that it’s hard to settle in and get a feel for what kind of show Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, co-created by former Agent Carter showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, is going to be. ... For now, based solely on the pilot, I’d say Kevin (Probably) Saves the World is (probably) not worth the space it’s going to take up on your DVR.

Ritter brings solid appeal to the title role while Herbert Gregory has a strong grip on her “warrior for God.” Even so, Saves the World can be overly goofy at times and remains murky in terms of just what Kevin represents or is supposed to do as “the last of the righteous.” Whatever the potholes in the plot, Saves the World commendably aspires to be bracing and uplifting in times when a second coming of Touched By An Angel might just do a world of good.
