Kevin Hart's doc series is a bit more honest that I thought it would be. That being said, like everything with Mr. Hart, it feels contrived. That being said, like everything with Mr. Hart, it feels contrived. His endless need to talk about himself with droning exposition about how amazing what he has done or is doing tends to grate on the senses. He never allows the audience room to make their own determinations, he'll narrate that for you with insipid phrasing and a single note of self-awe, always dealing in a profound wide eyed tone that spews out throw away lines from a self help book. Hart is clearly a good person and he is funny. Whether it's his stand-up, movies, or talk shows, he demonstrates how hard work and the relentless pursuit of success can elevate mediocre talent into something watchable, yet never memorable Expand
