It was pretty boring, and the whole plot is just kind of dumb, you go on a free trip for beating an easy video game? And there's only 2 staff?

The show is queer propaganda, especially last season. Not recommended for children.

We have 6 kids dropped down on an island full of dinosaurs, with no context, able to get in and out dinosaurs enclosures whenever they want.
They never stop talking, they always talk, there's not even a minute of episode in which the kids stop talking. So, every episode is pretty full, oversaturated with action and funny talking. Also, everything happens on screen, every kind of action is forced to be on screen, there's no off-screen stuff happening, except for two specific episodes, where some kids have to shovel **** while some others go to a laboratory. In the last episode they get separated from the adults and the story follows both adults and kids.
Stupid actions like deliberately getting in a velociraptor and carnotaurus paddocks can be explained as something do make this cartoon target audience laugh, but other stuff like a pretty standard and centripetal direction and poor narrative film editing forces you to always have everything before your eyes.
There's a specific episode in which they talk and relax a bit, but it's like they condensed the relax the whole series had to have and they put it all in one episode. They're stuck, for the entire episode in a monorail.
There's no character narrative progression, we see them becoming friends in some episode, but then they're like enemies in the next episode. In final episode they're all friends again.
A lot of stuff happens and it looks like it has no correlation to what happens before. There's no causality, even if the story is pretty linear. Most of the things that happen in the series is pure randomness and necessity of being there

Pros are that they're stuck on an island, and since everything is always on screen, there are literally no time ellipses. This conveys a feeling of claustrophobia that all the Jurassic Park and a little bit the first Jurassic World had, but Fallen Kingdom didn't.

Is it possible to be the worst animated show ever? A series with kids as the main characters, who are the dumbest people in existence, and the driving force of the show is a kid doing the stupidest thing he can think of in order for something to happen in the episode. This is the most embarrassing thing to happen to Jurassic Park since Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom. I can't wait for Dominion to fall into the proverbial volcano melting pot that is the franchise. Michael Crichton is rolling over in his grave. A series with a slightly amusing premise is turned into an utter farce, complete with the worst characters ever, even worse dialogue, and animation that makes direct-to-video Disney ripoffs blush. This is all yours and more for only a moderate fee at your local Jurassic Park merchandiser, conveniently located in the nearest dumpster. After Star Wars: Resistance and Star Trek: Lower Deck, I didn't think any other animated series would top off the complete failure in every conceivable way category, but Spielberg, Universal and Dreamworks said "Just you wait, and hold my beer." The cgi of the Dinos and characters is well done though. The story though is very poorly done, a setting with the Park being open has so much opportunity but its just kids getting into low stakes trouble again and again.

But it certainly does get a little better towards the end when the tone becomes more serious.

While it's animated and told from the perspective of a group of kids/teens, it is not just a show for kids. The plot, although quite simple, is interesting, characters are relatable. The dinos are realistic (not cartoon). And the kids are a really funny bunch (each one of them is basically an extreme personality - one never shuts up, one is scared all the time, other tries to impress everyone, but is dumb and always does something really stupid...) This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I would’ve gladly given this show a 7.5 despite the never-ending stereotypical teenage melodrama that makes me want to smash my head through a window. The show started out really strong despite its unlikable characters. But Camp Cretaceous has since taken a really strange turn and the show isn’t heading anywhere good. To be clear, these kids suffer from a terminal case of stupidity. That much is irrefutable. But the stupid-factor actually plays a key role in what makes this show exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat during the first 3 seasons. Despite its pros & cons, Camp Cretaceous has always remained in a sphere of reality within the Jurassic Park universe. The story toes the line of believability despite the characters’ invincible plot armor on an island full of savage dinosaurs — which I can’t fault the writers for since this is a kids show (and people do still get eaten). That was until watching Season 4, the point where the show’s writers lost their minds. The kids are on a new island hellscape full of invisible electronic walls (that serve no purpose) and stolen dinosaurs — and apparently a random sabertooth cat?? And no I’m not referring to Isla Sorna. I mean, why would the writers strand these kids in the one other place in the JP franchise that’s full of wild dinosaurs? They certainly could have. But nope! They wanted to tell a new story and boy is it a doozy! It’s in Season 4 when the show abruptly changed course and leaves any semblance of the JP franchise behind. The characters’ choices & rationale during each episode go from being stupid to just sheer mind-boggling and the show loses any sense of believability. You mean to tell me these kids were so suspicious of Dr. Turner (a stranger who’d just led them to safety indoors) that they promptly turned around and snuck back out into a forest where they’d escaped two tyrannosaurs moments ago? Nobody in their right mind would do that. And then we’re introduced to the newest stars of the show, the B.R.A.D. droids. Oy vey, the effing droids. When you have to insert killer robots into a show about dinosaurs, you’re clearly running out of ideas. Nothing satisfies Jurassic Park nostalgia like murder-bots! Overall, I thought the first two seasons were fantastic and although the third season went a little over-the-top, it was still really enjoyable. They’re totally worth watching. But the show has officially (and literally) left the realm of Jurassic World behind, and it is rapidly careening downhill. They could’ve taken this show’s plot in so many other directions with endless opportunities to tell a story better than the one we’re getting in season 4. I am absolutely dreading wherever this show is headed. Camp Cretaceous is probably one 1 or 2 seasons away from introducing human/dinosaur hybrids. I really wish I was joking. Expand

Season 1: 7/10- Felt nice with its character and overall gave a good introduction Season 2: 6/10- Since plots like it, but it's alright
Season 3: 8/10- Pretty good and overall nails its story
Season 4: 7/10- Pretty good as well with a turn on the story, which is nice because the leaving island thing got pretty old 3 seasons later. The only thing holding it down was that there was some sort of cringe parts like the random yelling and the romance **** Overall, if you enjoy Jurassic World, you will enjoy this too.
