A winning chemistry between all of the members of the family thrives at the center of Joe Pickett, a neo-Western with its own take on the various troubles that weave their way into the mountains and grand vistas of Wyoming.

It’s a show that likely benefits from the long tail of “Yellowstone’s” popularity, but for audiences drawn instead to a slow-burning mystery. On those terms, it’s modestly absorbing, perfectly fine, tick-above-average TV viewing.
