thought the first two episodes were pretty realistic in terms of how people would react to events like this

Fascinated by the story line and LOVE Skeet Ulrich - makes you care about what happens to his character...

The show has some serious issues with regard to radiation facts. The main character, who I love, is just a little too everywhere. Saving lives, putting out fires, blowing up mines! Also the slow motion of finding out who Hawkins is can drive you insane enough to abandon the movie. If the episodes weren't on the web I'd probably miss most of them.

I, too, am disturbed by some of the contrived acting, but the plot itself is enough to keep me interested. I have never watched Lost, but know enough about the show to be able to see how similar this may become. As long as we don't end up with radioactive bad guys or mutants I think it will be ok. It needs to be believble to be fun, and I'm waiting to see how the mine explosion I, too, am disturbed by some of the contrived acting, but the plot itself is enough to keep me interested. Love the show because though it had the potential of being over the top, it manages to focus on real people from their perspective. It balances the action/crisis with this personal touch well.

It started off slow, but it is a gripping story and so far it has had me glued to the screen for every episode.

Jericho is the first show since "24" that has kept me coming back for more. I wasn't aware of the show until several weeks into the season. Fortunately, CBS has posted all previous FULL episodes online so I was able to go back and watch from the beginning.

Great show remember this is FICTION and Entertainment if you want reality watch A&E or the history channel. Great new idea asks some good questions and good cast I expect it to get even better if they let it run a bit and give it a chance.

It was a lot better than the critics lead me to believe. I like a show that keeps me on my toes and makes me look forward to the next episode.

This thing got a lot of shotty reviews from the "real critics" before it even came out. I don't think it's a Seinfeld or West Wing or anything...but I do think it has a relatively good story line and isn't totally out there. I guess you could say that I find myself looking forward to the next episode.

The critics need to keep watching shows... How do you review a SERIES based on one hour????? The show is rapidly growing some interesting sub-plots that were never there in the pilot...

I was impressed with the season premier..... It's been a long time since I have ever had the "chills" run up and down my spinal chord!

I love this show. It's about the only really good fiction entertainment ON television. I am so tired of criminal and law shows, the comedies are mindless, as is reality tv. This is an action packed, suspenseful, yet oddly realistic "what if" scenario drama. I enjoy rewatching eps as much as new episodes. I can only hope CBS continues to respond. Also, they have to consider that they have probably already permanently lost a significant portion of viewers from the strike. If Jericho does not come back after this season, I may be another casualty. I suspect next year to be awful, thrown together from desperation and lacking thoughtful entertainment more than ever. Really love the show. Its not a show you can watch just 2 or 3 episodes. The characters really develop well. Chaos. Love. Family. Friends. Political. Jericho covers all the bases.

Interesting premise, although I can do with less father/son histionics in the first episode. The second episode was better, and I enjoyed seeing a show that presents characters as resourcful, intelligent and competent. I have read that the writers are taking some cues from BattleStar Galactica on SciFi. Not a bad place to go for writing inspiration!

I thought it was a pretty good show. A little hard to follow at times, but I really like where the story line seems to be heading. I cant wait for the next episode.

One of the better shows of last season. It was a slow start, but by the forth episode it picked up a lot. I am very glad to see it return for a second season.

A show that is getting better as the season progresses. Earlier in the season I would have given this a four for not really following through on the concept and having too much heartwarming bull filling up the airtime. Now that that has diminished due to less network interference, it has gotten much, much better.

Jericho is one of the more interesting sci-fi series I've experienced. It's a cult classic among fans and I know the reasons why. The characters are something to relate to and the subject matter is thought-provoking. Too bad this series lasted two and a half series. I recommend the Devil's Due/IDW comic spinoff of any fan who wanted to continue the story. I hope to see more of theJericho is one of the more interesting sci-fi series I've experienced. 1. A catastrophic nuclear crisis never looked as boring and convoluted as it does here.
  2. "Jericho" doesn't pretend to be artistically risky, but it's got a scary and gripping theme in an age of terrorism and nuclear thuggery.
  3. Jericho works when it sticks to the eerie surreality of a nuclear attack... The show, unfortunately, flops about in its first two episodes, leaning too heavily on the action-adventure stuff.
