Oct 28, 2015It's still a show that knows exactly what it is and how to do it well. It's exciting, touching, well-acted and most of all ridiculous amounts of fun. Does every storyline work? No (Yara Martinez's Luisa for the most part). Could the seasons be shorter? Yes. But when it's all this much fun -- who cares?

Jan 9, 2016Enjoyable show. Lately too many replays, flashbacks. I watched from the start and am disappointed. I'm a writer and a member of SAG=AFTRA. Voting for Tony's is soon.

Another season of fast-paced, dramatic antics with plenty of twists and turns to keep “Chapter Twenty-Three” on par with any of season 1’s installments.

Through Jane's eyes, parenthood seems both delightful and utterly daunting, and her scenes will have you laughing and reaching for the Kleenex at the same time. [16 Oct 2016]

The innovative blend of form, mood and tone in Jane the Virgin continues to be an accomplishment of the highest order. It is envisioned, edited and curated with great deftness and economy, and the fact that it is so entertaining and accessible should not preclude it from being at the center of conversations about the best the medium has to offer.
