It's light, frothy fun, and pokes fun at other more serious zombie shows. More Zombieland than The Walking Dead and so much the better for it.

In all reality, I don't even remember how I got past the first reason, but the second season is even worse. I simply cannot take this show, I will never, ever watch it again.

No one talks like this in real life, but the best writers can make the unbelievable entertaining with enough flourishes and head-spinning zingers, and in that sense Thomas is sort of like Aaron Sorkin for tweens. The only way for that writing to work is with a cast that can pull it off, and iZombie is showing that it has that in spades in season 2.

The sharp, witty season 2 premiere has crime solving revenant Liv Moore learning to live free of self-pitying cynicism. [9 Oct 2015]
