    Probably the most grittiest serial I've seen come from Canada. It's no 'The Wire,' nevertheless the writing is still pretty good. Some of the supporting characters seem borderline cliche, but never go over the edge. Some of the internal government politics drag out a bit into the season 2, but they clean up nicely. Makes the Canadian Intelligence community look pretty ragged, but it's nice to see some grit from Canada. Full Review »

    This is a great show, very complex plotting, great writing and acting.     Brilliant. It's, literally, a Canadian "Wire," as the use of wires is prominent, and, like The Wire, it blurs the line between law enforcementBrilliant. It's, literally, a Canadian "Wire," as the use of wires is prominent, and, like The Wire, it blurs the line between law enforcement and criminals. In fact, it does so much more than The Wire does.
