This show is well acted, original, funny and entertaining. While some things seems far too unrealistic (like most shows) it still is one of the best show currently playing.

I laughed out loud multiple times during the first episode. And i honestly can't remember the last time that I did that during a show. Yes, there are a couple of stereotypical characters, but that happens during a 22 minute first episode that has to jam in an entire backstory for a show. This show rocks! I hated all those multi-cam "laughers" TV Land used to put on, but Impastor is brilliant! The acting, writing and look of the show are all excellent. It's very funny, and if they keep it as interesting as the pilot, I'm in for the season!

I couldn't wait anymore to see Michael Rosenbaum in a new tv show and I'm happy he's in this one!
This is the best new comedy show of this summer!
All the cast is very funny and hilarious, the writing is witty and clever, the soundtrack is amazing! Every episode is 20 minutes of laughs and pure fun! I hope it will be soon renewed for season two because I’m loving this show always more

What to make of this show? It's a possibly interesting concept -- a man contemplating suicide is given a chance to start over as someone else. In addition, having said man attempt to impersonate a priest who recently came out of the closet could be fun, too. This feels like the kind of idea that could make for a light-hearted and wacky 90-minute film. As a series, I'm not sure it's goingWhat to make of this show? One of the lowest of bad comedies on TV, if TV Land qualifies as a channel. Stereotypes run rampant. Made by straight people who like to laugh at gay people :-(

Impastor is a great new show on TV Land. I feel it is the best new show of the summer. I love that is has a dark side, most comedies don't. They have a great cast. It stars Michael Rosenbaum (Buddy), Sara Rue (Dora), Mircea Monroe (Alexa), Mike Kosinski (Russell). They are all hilarious on the show! I especially love Michael Rosenbaum and Sara Rue, they have a cute dynamic. There is also aImpastor is a great new show on TV Land. I feel it is the best new show of the summer. I love that the story line is original and isn't a show trying to jump on a trend. Most shows today have something to do with either werewolves, vampires and zombies. Yes some of those are great and I love some of them. But the fact that Impastor has nothing to do with that makes me really happy. It is refreshing and awesome! I love that TV Land is taking a huge risk with this show and I think it was a risk worth taking. Impastor is hilarious and I definitely suggest checking it out if you haven't. follow them on twitter @impastortv #GottaLoveBuddy Expand

This show is utter garbage. The same crap lines run til they're dry. I didn't laugh once. Maybe season 2 will fix a broken show. They may need to hire some better writers or have the lead become more likable. Either way I am not taking the ride.

The bits of writing with real teeth are crowded out by a generally broader and more winking comedy style and pacing that seems to be anticipating more laughter than the material could reasonably expect.

Sara Rue shines, as usual, as the new pastor's secretary, Dora, but it's hard to see even Rue keeping this one from collapsing under its own stupidity.

Rosenbaum is charming, and so is Sara Rue, as his assistant at the church. But pretty soon, the dumbness begins to settle in.
