Jan 22, 2016This show is well acted, original, funny and entertaining. While some things seems far too unrealistic (like most shows) it still is one of the best show currently playing.

Jul 20, 2015This show rocks! I hated all those multi-cam "laughers" TV Land used to put on, but Impastor is brilliant! The acting, writing and look of the show are all excellent. It's very funny, and if they keep it as interesting as the pilot, I'm in for the season!

Jul 20, 2015One of the lowest of bad comedies on TV, if TV Land qualifies as a channel. Stereotypes run rampant. Made by straight people who like to laugh at gay people :-(

Aug 13, 2015Disgraceful... get some character TV Land. I have no idea what happened to this network but it has gone down the tubes for a some dirty laughs... well, I am not laughing. †

Aug 26, 2015This show is utter garbage. The same crap lines run til they're dry. I didn't laugh once. Maybe season 2 will fix a broken show. They may need to hire some better writers or have the lead become more likable. Either way I am not taking the ride.

The bits of writing with real teeth are crowded out by a generally broader and more winking comedy style and pacing that seems to be anticipating more laughter than the material could reasonably expect.

Sara Rue shines, as usual, as the new pastor's secretary, Dora, but it's hard to see even Rue keeping this one from collapsing under its own stupidity.

Rosenbaum is charming, and so is Sara Rue, as his assistant at the church. But pretty soon, the dumbness begins to settle in.
