Summary:
Students from seven schools in the Kanto district of Japan are waging battle against each other. The fighting will cease when the Ikki Tousen unites the schools, which literally translated means: one spirit with the power of a thousand warriors. It seems that the main character, a girl, Hakufu Sonsaku, who has recently moved to Tokyo is destined to unite the schools and become the Ikki Tousen. Although, to her cousin, Shuyu Koukin, she is just a headache who loves to fight and loves nothing more than fighting against impossible odds.
