EXCELLENT! This will be etched in my brain forever. Hoping there is a Season 2. Obviously, the so called 'professional' critics have no taste.

    Facts:
Human trafficking is the third largest international crime industry (behind illegal drugs and arms trafficking).
It reportedly generates a profit of $32 billion every year. Of that number, $15.5 billion is made in industrialized countries.

According to the U.S. State Department, 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders every year. More than 70 percent are female and half are children.

Two children are sold every minute.

I was sickened by the reality of this movie. To think that anyone could treat people, especially children in such a manner. I was a little disappointed at the end for it was unclear to me what the penalty was for the awful people in charge of the human trafficking. It is people like that, that keep me in favor of the death penalty.

I was shocked. The film illustrates all there is about human trafficking, demonstrating the raw truth. I found all the cast superb, specially the victims and the bad guys. If you have teenagers show the the movie, it covers all the distanve between knowing what human trafficning is and trully understanding what it is and to what extend it threats youngs people freedom and life. I have a daughter named Jody Ledkins who dissappeared in 1985, from Kansas City, Mo. The movie was hard, truthful and if people who thinks it will never happen to them., they are wrong. Jody still has not been found and yet someone knows something. I pray every night for my child and others who have been missing. I hope everyone does the right thing and report any suspicious activity. Thank you.

The show was quite good. I was expecting a made for tv drama to be of substandard quality but I was glad to be wrong. This movie truly highlights the nightmare that many people are forced into.

Human Trafficking is one of the most greatest television movies I've ever seen and it also shows the true evil side of slavery which is also very tragical to know why crimelords would buy and sell innocent people.I'll give it a spectacular 10!

I sympathize with the message but this has to be the worst production I have ever seen. Sorvino is unenthused and dry and I sympthize with Sutherland for having to perform one of the worst scripts in recent memory. Mini Series or not, try again

My heart goes out to each and every woman and child that has experienced these kinds of gross injustices. I would gladly dedicate myself to this cause. One asks what we can do? Start by educating women and children on what is out there and how to avoid this trap; Speak to and or write to government ministers regarding these issues, show your support and disgust. What scared me most about this movie was the blatant lack of feeling at forcing other humans into degrading, disgusting situations - and making money from it. Hitler killed women and children, and sold their assets, their hair for clothing, their shoes, their fillings... To me, he is just as bad as these disgusting people. Expand

It was a very graphic movie that portrayed the events that are currently happening in the world today. People don't believe these things could happen to them because they haven't actually experienced it personally. I was just shocked how scary the world can be and hope that a lot of people watched this series and learned from it.

I thought this was a very good two-part miniseries. It shows how human trafficking exists in here our world. People should be aware that human trafficking is a huge problem in the world. I've got to give Lifetime guts for showing about human trafficking because I'm not sure that any other television network would've shown it.

What an emotional show, I actually felt sick watching some of it. But bravo for the writer/cast/producer/director for taking a leap and telling the world about this topic. It helps to point out real problems in our world. What disgusts me about the show is that the people who are "customers" are educated people with family yet they don't hesitate to abuse women and children. The movie's tone teeters on the edge of self-righteousness, but the glassy-eyed numbness of the enslaved girls is a devastating portrayal of their living nightmare. [28 Oct 2005, p.77]
