    While I enjoyed watching the crews perform custom builds, the judging was horrendous. The cars getting most of the criticism during construction often ended up winning. Made no sense at all!

    Also, the countdown at the end of each episode was obviously contrived to build drama. That didn’t happen. Pretty lame, actually.

    In a summer of next to no good broadcast tv shows, this was mildly interesting, but missed the mark in so many ways. The ultimate winner had the worst design - according to the judges. I feel like the winner was selected by the head HW guy as this was the only toy he thought he could sell. I won’t buy it! The only decent car given to the finalists was the Firebird, The guy who got the VW was handicapped from the start. Hope this show either cleans up its format, or if not, it needs to go away.    … Full Review »
