Of course, anyone with a low tolerance for sugary sweet, sometimes sticky sentimentality would want to suck on a pack of lemons afterwards. For others, this is pure comfort and joy.

The conflicts in “Holidazed” barely scratch the surface of actual tension. Yet, despite the series’ corny, repetitive and predictable moments, it remains utterly watchable because of its cozy, tried-and-true formula.

Holidazed will make you dazed after the first episode, because of all the stories and characters that are introduced. But then the show should settle into what is basically a series of mini Hallmark-style holiday films, with all the feelgood scenes those films are known for.
