Season 5 has again many good episodes with entertain story arcs and good twists. Also there are awesome villains / antagonists. I must warn you about the final episode here. It is one of the best episode in the series but also a game-changer with probably one of the most shocking moments for the series and maybe even outside. Again the characters will be developed further. You learn new sides and reveals. It is the main strength of the setting or franchise as the hand of the past reaches into the present. The stories are full of good ideas, interesting themes and creativity. Good intentions can backfire, everyone will make mistakes and people can change. I want to describe the excellent and intimidating villains here but cant do it because of spoilers. I will only say the reveal is great and impactful. The stakes are high this time. As I already mentioned with early season the setting, special effects and costumes are praiseworthy. Especially for the time and budget. The soundtrack has again a great variety and “Princes of the Universe” will never get boring. Overall tied with season 4 for the best or my favorite season. Also the best cliffhanger and twist in the whole show. If this doesn't get your attention nothing will. Favorite episodes: “Prophecy” for the foreshadowing, story and resolution, “Manhunt” for its message and story, “Dramatic License” for the humor, idea / situation and set up, “Haunted” for the twist and moral dilemma, “Little Tin God” for the intense story and idea, “Valkyrie” for the moral dilemma resolution that is purposely ambiguous for you to decide who was right and wrong, the two episodes “Comes a horseman” and “Revelation 6:8” for the build up, reveals and intense story, “Duende” for its style and story, “The stone of Scone” for its great humor and “Archangel” for its impact and things I wont spoil.… Expand
