The second season does not disappoint. They refined the formula, added new characters and made more really good episodes. This season introduces Jim Brynes as Joe Dawson who added a lot to the series. Philip Akin as Charlie DeSalvo was also a win. He slowly noticed that there is more to Mac Cloud but cant pinpoint it. The whole main cast returns and there is a game changing event that impacts them all. Returning characters were Amanda, Xavier St. Cloud and the excellent James Horton. All are a win and enjoyable to watch. For the story: There is a mild overarching story in this season and many real good episodes. They refined the flashbacks. It becomes a staple that the past impacts the present. Decisions and mistakes from long ago become relevant and have great impacts to the characters. Again the costumes and special effects are great, especially if you evaluated the circumstances of a TV show and budget. The soundtrack is always great for the whole series. It was always a variety and I often searched for some tracks on the internet. Overall this was the season that made me a full fan in my youth. I don't say nostalgia did not impact or improved my rating. Nostalgia always impacts this for everyone. I see this for the original Star Wars trilogy. The reality cant keep up with my memories and nostalgia (Still 10/10). Back to this review: It has so many good episodes that I can give a 10/10 rating. Not everything is perfect but the good parts outweigh the lesser ones by far. My favourite episodes are: “The Watchers” because of lore building, “Turnabout” for the story and idea, “The Darkness” again for the idea and something I cant spoil, “Revenge of the Sword” for the set up and story, the excellent two parter “Unholy Alliance” for exactly this awesome alliance, “The Vampire" for the story and humour and the other two parter “Counterfeit” for again something I cant spoil here.… Expand
