It would be easier to rate if the series was bad or had some serious problems. I don't like giving a poor rating to something that is not a failure or that terrible. It is more that it is not Highlander or fantasy enough, the stories are not grabbing my interest and the characters are not relatable enough. Lets start at the beginning: I was happy that we got a spin off for the Highlander TV series. Even more with Amanda we got a perfect character. She has experienced much during her immortal life. She is a thief, a trickster and a has jack of all traces talents. She can be a hero or a criminal depending on the circumstances (Or even both at the same time). To make it short I enjoyed her more in Highlander and expected more out of her character. Also some things she does start the out of character alarms for me. This is a fitting transition. The show is more of a cop or crime show than Highlander. This is a common complaint and I agree. Then the character interactions between Amanda and Nick Wolf are not that good or bad. The chemistry is a bit off. It improves during the show. I will however praise the final of the season and the resolve. The continuation is something I would want to have seen. The stories are O.K. but weaker than Highlander. Like many fans I say that the second half improved a lot but it was to late as many have abandoned the show. However the special effects, sets and the soundtracks are good. Overall I could see the potential and would say with some improvements this could have been a hit. The potential for the follow up seasons were great (Cant spoil). It is a tragedy that many shows don't get a second chance.… Expand
