    I dont get it. Ive watched 3 episodes now and I dont recognise any characters. A few things have been mildly interesting but the story seems completely disjointed. I simply cannot see one link between the current show and the previous ones. I'm not gripped and not even sure I'll have time to watch this ever again

    A condescending, sneering middle finger up at the audience. Laugh or go away is the message. Sadly, there are few laughs and less hooks to keep you watching. It's like sniffing the steam rising off your dog's doings.

    Sorry. One episode will have to be the limit as a reviewable sample. If annoying your viewership is the same as being funny then this show is hilarious.

    I dont know why this series has high ratings, didn't find it funny at all, the supporting characters were just boring,i was really expecting something better.

    The characters are really annoying but I found it pretty hilarious and spot on. You either get it or you don't, it's definitely not going to be a show for everyone. Looking forward to more episodes.

    I love this show. It is pure creativity each week and has fascinating stories that share a part of New York few of us would ever see. I recommend it to all of my friends and once they come in touch with the non linear format they too embrace it. Great job everyone involved in this delightful and touching show. Especially the writers.

    There's nudity, and not the kind you want. That's the only negative. But you see I rated it a 10.

    It's only six episodes, so you can't say this is the greatest TV show ever. But on a rate basis, like per episode, this is one of the best shows ever made. Here's some other shows I like so you can see if our tastes align Game of Thrones Breaking Bad Broad City Fargo Stranger Things    There's nudity, and not the kind you want. That's the only negative. But you see I rated it a 10.

    It's only six episodes, so you can't say this is the greatest TV show ever. But on a rate basis, like per episode, this is one of the best shows ever made.

    As others have noted, characters are annoying and at times ridiculous. That's the point.. It's pretty hilarious at times, and is relatable for many. Excited to see future episodes

    There is nothing to see here. A boring look at a guy riding his bike to sell weed to various individuals. The people he sells to are for the most part, boring. The stories are all really lame, and the fact that I called them stories is a bit of a misnomer because who in their right **** mind would write this crap?

    For an aspiring writer like me,High Maintenance (web series) was a kick starter,a motivation.High Maintenance from HBO is also though sometimes i feel its foundation which was the web series is sacrificed for HBO's sake.

    I wanted to give this a negative 1 or at least a 0 but the lowest you can go is a 1 had to get that out there first. I just tried this show never heard of it and now I know why the writer needs to change the description in the title. The first episode makes it sound like it is about a dealer who we see do one delivery for 5 minutes. The bang right in to gay sex disgusting did not want toI wanted to give this a negative 1 or at least a 0 but the lowest you can go is a 1 had to get that out there first. I just tried this show never heard of it and now I know why the writer needs to change the description in the title. Hey if gay guys can say straight sex is gross the equal rights say's I can say the same. I have no idea what this is suppose to be but a comedy hell no it is boring and clicks on every P/C mode they can find. I tried to see if it was different in the next episode and it starts right off with Muslim women and they are trying to show true Muslim women looking at dick picks and getting high really !? They are just trying to be P/C and to make Muslims more likable and the funny thing is they pissed of the Muslim community doing this. I only watched 3 or 4 minutes turned it off and will never watch it again. I tried you can't say I didn't after the first one grossed me out I still tried to watch one more to give it a shot and it sucks this is for the 1% of the population the snowflakes not for the rest of us.… Expand

    High Maintenance comes off as a show to watch while you're high, but it's so much more than that. The anthology (but still loosely connected) format of the show lends itself to a fresh experience in every episode while keeping one familiar character involved to tie it all together. It requires little of the viewer, but it's easy to get more invested than expected.

    A smart, quirky and mostly funny show that's more a window into people's lives rather than about what the lead character does for a living.

    That’s part of the reason the show’s stories and characters feel honest and familiar; even if you don’t smoke, you probably know people who are just like The Guy’s customers. You may even recognize yourself in one of those people.

    In the six half-hour episodes that comprise the new season on HBO, High Maintenance exceeds expectations, not only delivering the same loose energy of the earlier seasons, but deepening the DNA of the show with the complicated tools at its disposal.

    The caveat here is that for newcomers--and honestly that's really most people who will conceivably be sampling this--High Maintenance does not yet fully formed as a series. It feels like it's pulsating with creative potential, but if the series doesn't deliver beyond its already built-in cult, what it could have been will just be forgotten as some stoner's dream.
