Being ardent Heroes fan I still enjoyed Season 4 as the characters developed further, however, the carnival characters were weak and the story lines began to dry up. It was still ok for me though and I wished it had been given one final mini-series after all the hope it brought to TV after Season 1.

Frustrating how under used Claire has been all through the seasons considering the skill sets her Agent Papa could of taught her. Nathan didn't even need to die with Claire's super blood and Peters medical skill set. It was very hard to use the suspension of disbelief in the Nathan storyline in this season knowing all that.

I really enjoyed the rest of the show and as usual the same old gritty show that shows how having super powers and to handle them is not as cool and easy as you would think it would be. Likeable humanistic down to earth characters with always excellent super villain on par with Sylar himself.

Actually starts off rather well, but then runs out of plot halfway through. Would have functioned better as a 10 episode arc.

    What a letdown.

Nice things in it that I like such as Karn Evil 9 but the season makes me barf every other time.

Unfortunate that the series had to end like this, but when something isn't flying anymore, it has to end, even when it originally had the potential to soar.

One upon a time this show use to be my favorite back in season 1, when it was thrilling exciting and the characters were lively enough to watch. It's ashame because this show had great potential and was put to waste. Expand

Season 4 introduced new characters and a different plot, but it all seemed a bit rushed. Every episode felt like more could have taken place. It's still worth watching, but ultimately the best part was also the shortest. There are 19 episodes and yet only the last 20 minutes or so are epic and exciting. I would only recommend watching this only if if you have time to kill, enjoyed the previous episodes and want to know where it ends (since season 5 has been cancelled). If you're not really bothered, there are better things to watch. Expand

My second review for this series is a comparison of viewer ratings. I believe it deserved the chance to get back on track with an interesting Series 5 that was more in tune with series 1. Heroes season 4 had it's lowest viewers ever but still nearly doubled Vampire Diaries with 6.54 million viewers. My second review for this series is a comparison of viewer ratings. Heroes season 4 had it's lowest viewers ever but still nearly doubled Vampire Diaries with 6.54 million viewers. Buffy had it's debut season at only 3.7 million viewers and peaked at 5.3 in Season 3 yet ran for another 4 seasons following this despite it's best coming in at 1.24 million viewers less than Heroes at its worst. Similar figures can be found for Charmed running for 8 seasons peaking in Season 1 at 5.5 million viewers and hitting a low of 3.5 million viewers in Season 7. Coming back to a more modern series is True Blood which only got 2 million viewers in its first series compared with Heroes 13.86 million in its first. Season 2 of True Blood 4.28 million and series 3 True Blood 4.97 million. Heroes worst season still got 1.57 million more viewers. So why was this series cancelled. Statistically it shouldn't have. Heroes season 4 started off with so much promise, unfortunately by the episode "Upon this rock" it went down hill. the last 7ish episodes are not very good...pretty mediocre. But the first half of season 4 is very strong, especially with the conflict between Sylar and Parkman. Which is some of the best moments Heroes had to offer after season 1

I don't get the hate...I really enjoyed this season. The first 11 episodes, easily, had the near quality of season 1. The last couple... not so much but still they were good. This season deserves a lot more credit than it is given. Heroes deserved one more season to tie up the loose ends. Heroes was treated very unfairly and it is sure as hell better than the lame **** on tv today. And NBCI don't get the hate...I really enjoyed this season. Unfortunately they wasted the good will of yet another stellar season.
