Season 1 Review:
[The group's teacher] is nothing compared to the students and the improbable dialogue that prevails. True, things brighten somewhat when the question "What is cancel culture?" arises. ... The trouble Miles confronts as he faces one party invitation problem—details of which needn't be reported here—is a promising one in its emotional force. Miles is a sign of hope for the introduction of human characters, capable of feeling, and a gift to the show. It is an extraordinary performance by Adrian Matthew Escalona.

Season 1 Review:
We’re recommending it on the strength of Gomez’s lead performance and Lawrence’s ability to guide his showrunners to better episodes as his shows first seasons go along.
