Season 1 Review:
“Final Twist” is pretty much a Thing of Its Kind, not substantially different from “Dateline” or “48 Hours,” and with those words you may already know if you’ll like it. For me, the best thing about such shows are the (honest) detectives and (capable) lawyers happy to talk about an old, successfully concluded case, and how little any of it resembles what crime fiction throws at you.

Season 1 Review:
[Coben's] insights tend to be generic in nature and spoken by Coben in a way that sounds like he’s reading from a cue card. In fact, Coben’s presence eventually becomes a bit of a liability. .... Despite the stiff and unnecessary narration by Coben, Harlan Coben’s Final Twist still does a good job of giving viewers lots of surprises in each episode’s brief running time.
