    This is the best crime drama in awhile and for me personally is up there with my all time favorites of the genre (The Wire, Twin peaks and The Shield).

    Watched this on us telly, it were reet gud....But that's enough cod Yorkshire-ese,...this is a fabulous police procedural that shows just how dark the underbelly of your average town can be. All hail Sarah Lancashire!

    Liked the first season, liked the second season. Felt they wrapped it up too quickly after having plenty of time, the ending kinda was sprung on you. Nevertheless enjoyable television. Would watch a third season.

    The stakes are often high in Happy Valley, but it makes even the nuisance aspects of policing seem vital (and perversely entertaining).
