Aug 31, 2015For me this was Happy Endings strongest season with enough genuinely funny scenes to allow the slightly unoriginal character relationships and jokes that don't quite work to be overlooked. It may never have reached the heights of the very best sit-coms but I for one am disappointed to see it cancelled after just 3 seasons.

Jan 16, 2014The season that made you sad that Happy Endings was cancelled. This show grew into probably one of the funniest sitcoms on TV. Normally shows start strong and end weak, but its funny how this gem did it in reverse.

The actors are loose, but the writing, overseen by series creator David Caspe, is tight.

Happy Endings, cast and all, has now officially jelled. The show exists on the same cosmic (and comic) TV plain as "Scrubs," "Arrested Development" and that other late bloomer, "Cougar Town."

Happy Endings has so many things going for it that the occasional weak story line or meh scene is not a big deal at all.
